Can I get a BBL if I've already had liposuction? (photos)

Question

I'm interested in getting a bbl. I' had liposuction before when I had my breast done. So I'm not sure if that changes rather or not I'm a candidate for a bbl. I'm 5' tall 47 years old looking for a hourglass figure with projection in my rear.

Hello and thank you for your question. Given your previous abdominoplasty, there is very little fat from the abdomen that could be harvested. There is some from the back, flanks, arms, and thighs that could be harvested and then grafted to your buttocks to fill out and recontour that area to balance your overall shape. I would discuss with your surgeon after they perform a physical examination just how much fat they think they would be able to harvest so that your expectations are reasonable with how many cc's could be placed there versus what your goals are for the size of your buttocks and shape of your buttocks. Thank you for your question. Based on the pictures you appear to be good candidate for a second round of intense liposuction especially in your belly, waist, laterals, pubic area and chin. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).

This is definitely worth a shot, but you are limited with the amount of fat you have remaining.  I think a big portion of the outcome will come from the aggressive liposuction that is used to create a waist during a BBL.  The amount of fat you have may limit the buttock projection and an implant can be considered.  I would research a leader in the BBL field like Dr. Delvecchio.  Best Wishes!!

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Based on your pictures, you are a great candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results. 
Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a nice heart shape.
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.
l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Hello and thank you for your questions and pictures. Having had previous liposuction does not necessarily disqualify you from being a candidate for BBL. The main thing is to have enough fat to collect through liposuction so that it can be transferred to the buttocks and hips for curves. You also have to be healthy enough to undergo surgery.

I recommend you see a plastic surgeon that specializes in body contouring and can help guide you and prepare an adequate treatment plan for your transformation. You may need to gain some weight so that there is enough fat to make a difference once you undergo surgery.

From the photos it appears you still have some excess fat that can be liposuctioned and transferred. Sometimes in photos loose skin or scar tissue can look like fat, so it is best to see a PS in your area for in in person consultation.

Thank you for the question and pictures. As long as there is more fat you can have as many BBL's as you want. At some point, there will be no fat left to transfer. It looks like there is some fat on the lower back/flank area that would be a great donor are for fat transfer and also scoop out the lower back to make the buttock more shapely.
