VASER is simply an ultrasound probe used before traditional Liposuction is performed. The company who sells this equipment has done studies demonstrating that the fat is equally or more viable after being pre-treated with the ultrasound probe for fat transfer. Equipment is not particularly important when it comes to either liposuction or fat transfer results. What is important is the individual candidacy of the patient in conjunction with the skill and experience of the plastic surgeon.
