Is it safe to have a Tummy Tuck & Lipo after having radioactive iodine ablation due to Graves disease and hyperthyroidism(mild)?

I was diagnosed with Graves disease and mild hyperthyroidism 2 years ago. Everything normalized about 9 months ago and I was taken off of medication so I scheduled to have a tummy tuck and liposuction. Just had labs and Endo advised it was back and he recommended surgery or the ablation and I chose the ablation which will happen soon. My procedures aren't scheduled until March 2015. Is it safe to proceed with the surgery?
