I had recently went and received Juvederm Volbella at my dermatologist for my lips. About six hours later I developed a headache that has not gone away. Now it's a week and half later and I still have pain around my eyes, forehead, and ear. I also have post nasal dripping and throat ache. I am not sure if this is an allergic reaction? I've gone and seen an ENT physician and he took a CT scan of my sinuses and said everything is fine. I normally don't have headaches or allergies.

Thank you for sharing your question. With the increased swelling of the facial tissues that accompanies your illnesses it would not be uncommon to have some sensitivity over your filler material. There is nothing to worry about if the symptoms disappear within a few days. Hope this helps.

You need to schedule an appointment with your injector to have this assessed in person. If it is the filler that is causing the issue and not a hematoma then yes, you may want to have some of it dissolved.
