Interesting Question. If you were looking to make your lips fuller and more supple I would recommend a filler. It can make your lips look larger and more symmetric. Depending upon your anatomy you may be able to make your mouth appear wider but that can only be determined when you are examined. Fillers are generally a great solution because they are quick and easy with minimal bruising especially if you go to a physician that uses blunt cannulas like I do in my office. I suggest you make an appointment with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and options.Best of luck!
You can certainly consider a dermal filler like Restylane Refyne or Defyne for your thin lips. However, you need a formal consultation to make a diagnosis for you and then to determine the best course of action. Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
Hello,Thank you for your question. Without a picture it is very difficult to give an exact recommendation. However, filler can help enhance the mouth area, making the lips appear wider and more full. Please consult with a local physician in person to determine the best course of action for your concerns. Good luck!
Lip augmentations with fillers is a great option to improve the fullness, suppleness and symmetry of the lips. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers. I hope this helps.
Dear MartinLoufa,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking dermal filler are a great option for lip augmentation. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
You have a few options. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a full lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results. Best, Dr. Emer
Sorry but I don't know of any treatment.Without a photo it is difficult to accurately asses the problem.Perhaps a consult with an oral surgeon and imaging studies may help
Thank you for your question. It is really hard to give you solid recommendations without seeing photos. For thin lips, you would likely be pleased with a filler. My preferences for lip fillers are volbella or juvederm. Volbella offers a more subtle look while juvederm gives you a fuller look. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a reputable provider in your area to get the best treatment options for yourself. I hope this helps. Best of luck to you!
Hello and thank you for your question. A lip augmentation is a cosmetic procedure that uses an injectable dermal filler to enhance the appearance of your lips. The procedure is designed for anyone who is not satisfied with the appearance of the lips, and for patients who want more appealing, plumper lips. Hyaluronic acid filers such as Juvederm and Restylane are the two most common dermal fillers that are used to create fuller lips. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar that gives the skin its natural elasticity and volume. Like collagen, hyaluronic acid decreases over time, and skin begins to lose its volume. An ultra-fine needle is used to inject the material into the lips and along the edge of the lips to make your lips fuller and plumper. Although the results are not permanent, you can expect your lips to retain the plump fullness for up to six months. I recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced physician to discuss your options. Best of luck to you P. Alexander Ataii M.D.
Thank you for your question. A non-permanent way to add volume to the lips is with hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane and results typically last 6-12 months. I do not advise having more than 1 syringe injected at a time as to avoid overcorrecting. You can always add more...

Thank you for your question. At 2 months post-treatment all swelling should be resolved. If you are having discomfort I recommend having a follow up with your injector for an evaluation. It may be necessary to dissolve some of your filler hyaluronidase. Best of Luck!
