I'm 31 & really unhappy with my lower face and how I'm aging. I have dark shadows/marionette lines that I can't get rid of. I've done facial rebalancing w filler in cheeks/jaw, microneedling, & botox in DAO & platysma muscles. I feel like it's just from the way my mouth rests & it pulls down. I would like a mini lift but 1 doctor I consulted with said I wasn't a candidate. He suggested ProfoundRF but also I've heard of PDO threads? Help pls!!
Answer: Skip the PDO threads Based off your photos - the things you complain about are very minor as you still have nice high cheek bone structures. An endoscopic midface lift could potentially address your lower face enough to where you might buy yourself time (hopefully 10+ years) before you need a neck lift. If there are fine lines around the mouth or under the eyes, nanofat grafting would help give some volume and CO2 resurfacing to help tightening the skin and maybe erase some of the lines. (Definitely speak to your surgeon about these options and whatever fillers / procedures you've done - you might have to dissolve the fillers prior to any procedure).

Answer: Ultherapy can help prove a small lift for a more defined and youthful look. Unlike other tightening treatments, Ultherapy only requires a single treatment every one to two years and has long-term effects in skin stimulation and collagen production. Ultherapy is ideal for men and women who are experiencing mild to moderate skin laxity and desire a noticeable and long-term skin tightening treatment without the complications and risks of more invasive surgical procedures. Ultherapy can be combined with dermal fillers, Botox treatments, chemical peels, skin tightening lasers, and skin facials. Our plastic surgery and cosmetic center in Santa Monica offers Ultherapy as a complement to other skin treatments and cosmetic rejuvenation procedures. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Premature to consider surgery. Thank you for your photos. Your facial shape, contour and symmetry is excellent. Your jawline is straight and smooth. Your neck looks excellent. While it’s always possible to do a mini facelift, I don’t believe it would achieve the results that you’re looking for, and it comes with its attendance cost, recovery, and incision lines. I would continue to investigate non-invasive options.

Answer: Lip lift I do not recommend a face lift at this time. I do recommend a lip lift. A lip lift can be done so the corners are pulled up and very little is pulled up centrally, which is what you need. This will also help with the nasolabial folds and marionette deformities. A small amount of fat can be transferred, if needed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Face Please do not do the threads. I would suggest micro-needling with radiofrequency, like Secret, with Sculptra injections added to the treatment. This will help tighten and improve your overall skin.
