Blepharoplasty scars tend to be visible when people close their eyes.
In public when communicating with others, we typically keep our eyes open so discourse tend not to be visible to others.
We don’t make assessments with the eyes closed unless we’re trying to show that the patient can’t close their eyelids which does occasionally happen from cosmetic surgery.
If you want us to make an assessment regarding the outcome of your procedure, then I suggest posting a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
If you don’t have before, and after pictures to ask your surgeon to forward, the pictures they took.
The way each individual person heals, including the color of their scar is completely dependent to their genetic make up.
Hypo pigmentation is common in Caucasian people.
I don’t think how the surgery was done. Has anything to do with how your scar looks.
It does have to do with how much skin was removed.
I’ve had lots of patience complain that not enough skin was removed even when they can barely close their eyes so it goes both ways.
If you want an assessment, then show us proper pictures.
If you can’t close your eyes and are getting eye irritation, then consult with an ophthalmologist.
