Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Our happiest patients are those people who have severe dissatisfaction with their nasal appearance for a long time. Based on your two photos, you appear to have a non-distracting nasal appearance. You should only consider rhinoplasty surgery if you have specific concerns about your nose that you don't like, and if you dissatisfaction has been for a long time. Thank you for this question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
thank you for your question. We only have frontview pictures. Side views may lead to another conclusion. But based on those - you are very beautiful as you are. There are many beautiful features of your nose, and your face. I would not recommend you to do anything.
Your photographs are limited. I cannot tell if you need the dorsum straightened or if you need the angle of the nose increased. However, your does look symmetrical and slightly widened. You may benefit from a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. Additional photographs are needed to give an accurate answer.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
It is impossible to give you a meaningful advice based on these photos. In person or teleconference consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon would give you more information about potential nose surgery. Good luck.
More information is needed such as a side profile and a three-quarter profile to make a determination, since the nose is a three-dimensional structure, and rhinoplasty is performed in all three dimensions. Simply from the frontal view, you can accomplish narrowing your bridge line with osteotomies and narrowing the nostrils with an alar – plasty. Digital computer imaging would also be helpful to understand what can be accomplished with your nose upon your facial features
Based on your photo you appear anatomically to be a good candidate for an artistically performed rhinoplasty through either a closed or open technique. It is an elective procedure and only you can determine if your nasal features concern you enough to do something about improving the cosmetic appearance of your nose and whether it would be worthwhile.Following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you exactly what to do based on limited photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon with extensive nasal surgery experience who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Additional information about the procedure will help you decide if it is a procedure that you want to pursue. Unforrtunately it is not possible to assess what may be performed on your nose. The 1 iew is very limited. In evaluating a nose for correctio you need several views including frontal, side and basal views. But to get the best evaluation you should consult with a Board Certified plastic surgeon with lots of experience perfroming rhinplasty. Good luck!
In fact, if your nasal bridge is made thinner, that might cause your eyes to appear further apart. I hope this is helpful, and thank you for this question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Hello from Istanbul, Türkiye! This is a common nasal structure that I often treat. The drooping of the tip, especially when you smile, is due to long and weak nasal tip cartilages. By shortening and reinforcing these cartilages, the nose will not only look more refined, but your breathing may ...
Congratulations on your procedure! To best decide what to do next, it’s important to take a look at what’s going on underneath. This is anatomical and unrelated to surgery. Gentics are the most likely culprit with one sides’ muscle being longer/shorter or more dominant/stronger. The effec...
