Would fixing my wide nosebridge with rhino plasty make my eyes seem more closer together? As i have wideset eyes currently
Answer: Rhinoplasty surgery will not change the appearance of your eyes. In fact, if your nasal bridge is made thinner, that might cause your eyes to appear further apart. I hope this is helpful, and thank you for this question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Rhinoplasty You would benefit from a rhinoplasty. Your nose is curved and needs to be straightened. It also needs the width narrowed. It may give the illusion of less eye distance but it will not change the distance. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Relationship of the eyes and the nasal bridge width Yes, the width of the nasal bridge can affect the perceived appearance of the intercanthal distance, which is the space between the inner corners of the eyes. A wider nasal bridge can make the eyes appear farther apart, whereas a narrower bridge can make the eyes seem closer together. This is why changes to the nasal bridge during rhinoplasty can influence the overall balance and proportions of the face. Dr. B.

Answer: Does rhinoplasty impact eye position? Thank you for your question. No, a rhinoplasty will not change the intercanthal distance of your eyes meaning your eye distance will not change. Best, Thomas Walker, MD, FACS 470-900-3223 @drthomaswalker

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Narrowing your mid-nasal vault would not adversely affect the appearance of your eyes Based on your photograph, you may also benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
