Hi! I have been researching and considering rhinoplasty for my nose. It is slightly crooked and off center in my face. I would like a narrowed bridge, defined tip, and more of a slope in the bridge as well. Would you consider me a good candidate and would this be a straightforward procedure?

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you have bulbous tip and slightly thick skin so you need to be patient about your healing process. Your nose can be reshape according to your wishes with an open rhinoplasty. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: Are you a good candidate for a Rhinoplasty? Would it be a straightforward procedure? Are you a good candidate for a Rhinoplasty? Would it be a straightforward procedure? there are several good things about your face and nose. Your facial features are very pretty and your nose, from the views you present, is really not bad. It appears to over project slightly, and as you mention the tip could use some more definition, and the bridge could be a little narrower. The nose appears to tilt slightly to the right. Whenever the nose is crooked there is additional work that must be done, usually upon the septum to correct this. From that point of you it is not entirely “straightforward“. The problem with noses that are not that bad to begin with is that there is a narrow range of change that would lead to a really good result. Too much change risks making something that wasn’t that bad to begin with worse. Not enough change could make the procedure not really worthwhile. So to have just the right amount of change with a so-called “finesse rhinoplasty“ would require a great deal of experience, expertise and aesthetic judgment. In a way large hook noses that look terrible have a wider tolerance range for improvement. Even an imperfect result is almost certain to be better than what the patient had to start with. So ironically what often looks like it would be the easiest case , Requires the most skill and aesthetic judgment because of the narrow tolerance range.
