10 months post preservation rhinoplasty, how long before the open roof closes? (photos)

Im 10 months post preservation rhinoplasty and i have an open roof on one side, even tho i had a medial and lateral osteotomy. My surgeon says its normal and that it will still close by itself with callus growth. Is that really possible and how long does that take? Update: Photos added

It is curious that you would have an open roof deformity following a preservation rhinoplasty.  Technically in preservation rhinoplasty the open roof cannot occur as there is no removal of the bony dorsum.  A lateral step off can occur and your surgeon is correct in that a callous will form and should create a smooth transition over time

Hello! Thank you for your question. From the question you asked without photos It would not be a healthy evaluation. If you can provide photos from front of your face, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation.
