Outward facing breasts - can I move them closer and create cleavage? (Photos)

Question

My breast face outward and I have a lot of space between them . Is there a way I can move them closer together and create cleavage ? I’m not too concerned with size (although I would like to go up but the overall shape is my main concern )

many women seek improved cleavage. Narrowing the cleavage plane can be done very carefully by a skilled surgeon. Moving the implants too far medially can result in synmastia or unaboob which is very difficult to correct. That being said, the right amount of pocket dissection and implant selection can create excellent cleavage.

Each patient has their unique anatomy.  Some have chests that are a bit wide with nipples further apart.  With implants you will have more cleavage.  The wider the implant the more cleavage.  But, and this is important, implants are centered behind the nipples, so there is more "side boob" as you go larger.

Looking at your photos, I don't see that your breasts can be very close. But a modest implant will give you more fullness and more cleavage. The link shows improved cleavage with implants.

@Magical92883 Thank you for the photos. There are limitations to what a breast augmentation can achieve. In your photos you have very lateral nipple complexes and moderate separation between the medial aspect of your breast. While you will get some medial fullness (move them closer together) with a breast augmentation, it will not create significant cleavage in your case due to your baseline anatomy. Additionally, it is impossible to change to position of your nipple complex with an implant.

The implants need to be centred behind the nipples, therefore breast augmentation can only reduce the gap between your breasts to a certain extent. Your surgeon can let you know by how much, and if your goal is achievable.

It is important for patients to understand that augmentation will "augment" all aspects of your anatomy. The spacing of the footprints of the breast on the chest wall will vary from one individual to the next. Widely spaced breast will appear more widely spaced and vice versa. 
The spacing (cleavage) is defined by the pocket. The pocket is defined by the plane of augmentation.When placed submuscular, the medial/middle limit is the sternal origin of the muscle. Wide sternum  greater separation of the breasts  less dramatic cleavage. This space can be narrowed (with some risk of synmastia) when the devices are placed subglandular or "over" the muscle. There is no muscle obstructing a medial push, however, there is a higher risk of over-dissection and midline migration of the implant (the dreaded "uni-boob").
With regards to your specific question, a higher profile device is narrower but will project more. A wider device can create the illusion of closer spacing between the breasts (when placed subglandular). Most patients will fit into the "moderate +" category...but this will depend upon the measurements of your breast width. That being said, it is never recommended that you stray far from your unique BWD.
And remember...love the look you choose...not the cup you desire.

Thank you for your question and photos. the lateralized nipple areolar complexes will not move closer, unless it's done surgically which will create a circular scar. These often can spread. Placement of an implant to create a closer cleavage can be done without moving the nipple-areolar complex. This will give you a very nice result, accepting that the nipples will still point slightly laterally. See a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

Improvement of your breast appearance can be achieved by implant augmentation and fat grafting. Carefully selected implants will improve this picture and visually make the areolas closer together; to achieve more cleavage, additional fat grafting of the upper and medial pole of the breasts will be needed. It is normal for breasts to face outward or towards sides especially when laying down since the chest is round.

Space between breasts and their location, shape on the chest wall, asymmetries  is genetic and can’t be changed drastically.

Cleavage can be improved with implants, but they will not touch in the middle without bra, clothing.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to further discuss your options and expectations.
