My profile is straight, but from the front/oblique I see a bony flare near the rhinion (not a hump — more horizontal). Can filler help smooth this nd improve my appearance, or would it make it look wider? Or do I need surgery to narrow the nasal bones?

Answer: No liquid -- it would indeed make the nose look wider. More ... When a liquid rhinoplasty is done, filler is injected under the skin. When you put something *in*, the nose gets *bigger*. Those little lateral bumps are usually an outward flare of bone and also a little cartilage. If your profile is good, and if your nasal bones are in a narrow-enough position, it could be that you only need to have those lateral bumps shaved off.

Answer: Rhinoplasty I usually do not recommend filler into the nose under any circumstances. Filler is not very natural and tends to lead to prolonged swelling in the nose. Additionally, if not done perfectly, the solution is a surgical rhinoplasty that can be much more challenging due to the scar/residual filler/inflammation. The best way to address the "bony flare" you are describing in the photo would be with direct bone scultping or bone cuts as part of a real surgical rhinoplasty.
