Hard bump inside nostril after rhinoplasty, has anyone seen something similar? (Photos)

Based on your photo, the bottom of your septum may be a bit deviated towards the side that you see the protrusion that is firm. Most people won't notice this. I believe it is from because you are feeling the bottom of your nasal septum. If all else is OK with your nose, don't worry about this. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Hi, Great photos, that is very hard area to get photograph. It looks like your referring to the septum, which seems to be deviated to the right, creating the firm protrusion. I would avoid lasers inside the nose. This can further alter the blood flow to the mucosa and cartilage, which would increase the risk if you needed any additional surgery. The best way to diagnose this more definitively is to have an actually examination. Make sure to choose a surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty and one that is honest. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, this is a portion of the right medial crural foot plate, which is likely being pushed out by a caudal deviated septum. This can be repaired during a revision. Furthermore, if you had an implant placed such as a silicone or gortex implant that is at very high risk for complication, and should be removed at the same time. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
