Can I get Chin Filler with Chin Implant?

Generally speaking, an appropriately shaped and sized chin implant (whether custom-made or preformed) will usually obviate the need for further dermal filler. Once an implant is in place injecting additional dermal filler does pose higher risk than it normally would in the absence of a silicone implant. Nevertheless, every case is unique and it may certainly be acceptable in certain situations. The most important thing is that you see a provider who really understands your individual anatomy (which would be your surgeon) and can minimize your risk of an adverse outcome.

Chin implants are manufactured in a large array of both sizes and shapes, which is determined by your surgeon prior to the surgery itself. Digital computer imaging can also be performed to give you an idea what your new result might look like. You should not need filler after it placement of a chin implant, but it would be acceptable to undergo filler placement underneath the dermis if ever needed.

You should be able to get fillers after having a chin implant. Some providers may be concerned about contamination. If the needle is also pushed into the silicon, then the injector will not be able to push filler through the syringe.
This is definitely something that each provider will have their own view one so I suggest you talk to your providers.
