Hi! I want to exchange my implants to something that fits my figure. I also feel my current breast implants sit too low anatomically and would like the crease or pocket to be higher. There is also too much space between my nipple and my crease. What procedure is this called? I don’t think its an actual breast lift because they dont look like it has ptosis/sagging. Just the breasts sit low on my body making my abdomen look short. I would like chest to be higher.
Answer: Implants From your photo you may want to consider smaller implants to better fit your frame. By selecting the correct volume and profile you may find the results are more in line with the look you are wanting. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation to learn more.

Answer: Higher Sitting Implants I would recommend downsizing to a smaller implant, potentially using Galaflex (internal bra) and potentially performing a lift. A lot of these decisions depend on a physical exam. I would recommend seeing a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon with experience in revisionary breast surgery.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Genius6876,breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Implants Naturally, your breast sit somewhat low on your chest and the bases cannot be raised. However, you have a small amount of bottoming out which can be corrected by tightening the inferior pocket and positioning the implant a little higher. Going bigger is not a good option since you will have a heavier implant in position which can sag again.

Answer: Low sitting breasts You have nice result after augmentation, implants are grossly symmetric and nipples on the top of breast mount; you have low sitting breasts and that is best that can be achieved with augmentation. However, if you want both breast crease (IMF) and nipples in higher position, you will need a true lift with anchor like scar. Is it good alternative for what you have? In person consultation with your surgeon and/or second opinion consultation with another surgeon with known expertise in breast surgery, is recommended. Good luck.
