Hello! I have saggy breasts and am a B cup. I am 5’10 and weigh 150 pounds I also have wider shoulders. After doing research I really want to get 600cc implants. But a friend warned me to not go over 350cc on your first time. I never heard that you need to “build up” to the size you want. I found a surgeon who said he can do a lift and implant through the aerola. Is this size too big? Do I really need several surgeries to obtain a bigger size?

Answer: 600cc Implants Your photos reveal that you have bilateral grade 1 ptosis. ( Droopy breasts) With this anatomy, it is best to do a breast lift- either a peri areolar or vertical mastopexy. (breast lift) The implant size will depend on the dimensions of your breast and chest wall. When adding a breast lift, the size of the implant generally needs to be smaller because of the tension on the closure. 600ccs may be too large when looking at your photos, but your surgeon can more accurately determine the size.

Answer: Implant size Selecting the correct implant for you will depend on what size you'd like to be after surgery. Depending on your breast width and goals it is very possible to place a 600cc implant initially. In addition to volume your surgeon will also help you decide on shape and profile which will influence your final look. From the submitted photos it appears you will need more than a periareolar lift for a good result. If you are unsure how to proceed you can visit with another board certified plastic surgeon in your area for a second opinion.
