bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery.
Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies.
If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision.

Based on your one photo, you are not bottoming out but appear to have thin tissue. also, you breast sit somewhat low on your chest and the bases cannot be raised.

It's difficult to tell from the photo if your implant is bottoming out. Typically when an implant bottoms out the distance between the nipple and the fold becomes longer. Your surgeon will examine you to determine what may be occurring.

The pictures show implants above the muscle and loss of soft tissue. You can have larger implants under the muscle or fat grafting to enhance upper pole if your implants are few years old. If the implants are more than 5 years old, need new implants, fat grafting and revision of the pocket. Please see the link
