33F saggy abdomen after liposuction, petite BBL (photo)

Question

I had a petite BBL 6 months ago. I love my results but I noticed some loose skin on my abdomen. I’m sad because it’s not the same results from my 3 mo post op. It used to be really tight and nice. The only think I can think of if maybe I stopped wearing my faja too early. My surgeon recommended endermologie after surgery and I did It once a week. I’m still doing it now. What can I do? Do I have to redo the lipo?My surgeon recommended Morpheus but I heard the results don’t last.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Based off your photos only (without a physical exam) - this is a tough problem, you have a scar from a previous surgery that is likely the main culprit for some of the saggy skin appearance, and likely the other is from the liposuction - when you remove a little more than the skin can contract to, it will hang like yours does (sometimes its better to leave fat there versus trying to remove as fat as possible). I would recommend trying morpheus (will need many rounds) to see if that gives it any improvement over the next 8-12 months, don't gain weight, try to increase your muscles in your core/abs and then if all this fails to give you enough improvement - likely will need some type of surgical intervention - either revising the scar you have there and / or fat grafting back to the areas that were over-lipo'd mixed with some more lipo in areas that need a little more resection needed.

You did everything right postoperatively because you got rid of the swelling that made you think your skin was tight and firm. Now you're dealing with the reality of skin laxity. I can see a laparotomy scar which could potentially be a gateway to skin excision and tightening. Please don't let anyone take your money for Morpheus or any other heating device. It won't work. A facial plastic surgeon in BH (Ben Talei) and I have a series of patients we did multiple treatments on and found it made no clinical difference in the appearance of the skin.

Quantum and Morpheus are radio frequency treatments which tighten up skin nicely and is done under local anesthesia.  It is your best option to smooth out lipo areas and really works. I do it with all our lipos now.

More liposuction to remove more fat will just make that area worse, since the loose skin is now the issue and not fat. I would suggest Morpheus, or CO2 laser or minimally invasive radiofrequency like Renuvion to help tighten your skin.

Removing fat is never going to make your skin better guide.
Most of us usually know that people who lose a lot of weight typically end up with loose skin.
There are several variables that need to be taken in the consideration before having this procedure.
Generally speaking young individuals Without skin laxity typically do better.
This means women who’ve not have children do better than those who have pregnancy related skin laxative, even if it’s mild.
H also contributes negatively in regards to how the skin and response to Liposuction. Paragraph there’s no single age cut off.
People who are 20 do better than those were 30 and those are 30 do better than those who are for etc. etc. 
The younger, the better the skin is in regards to elasticity.
 Unless you have an issue with fat distribution, you should not have revision Liposuction.
If Liposuction gave you skin laxity, then doing more of the same isn’t going to fix the problem.
To make an assessment, we need proper before and after pictures.
If you don’t have those, then ask your provider to forward the pictures they took.
I don’t believe any secondary non-surgical treatment is going to tighten your skin.
 Non-surgical skin tightening is the Aesthetic holy Grail and there are thousands of providers still hoping to find it.
If you have the money in time to do your treatments, then all I can say is it’s a free world.
It looks like you’re sucking in your abdomen on the second picture.
We generally want to compare like to like so try to have before and after pictures taken in your doctors office The way the original pictures were taken.
That gives us the best ability to make a quality assessment.
Would that know what you look like before the procedure? We can’t really assess the outcome of the procedure very well.
If you’re happy with the results then that speaks for itself.
No one has ever proven that compression garments have any impact of liposuction results.
Wearing compression garments will not give you skin tightening.
