Hello! I had liposuction performed on my outer thighs as part of a breast fat transfer procedure. I'm at one year post-op this month. Since the procedure, I've had these two quarter-sized (though more rectangular) "bumps" on my left thigh that almost feel like mosquito bites in density, with depressions above and below each bump. I've been massaging and using a roller on the area since the procedure to no avail. When I pull up on the skin on my hip, the bumps disappear. My question is: What are these bumps? Are they actually hardened tissue/fat, or is the lack of fat in the area creating an illusion of bumps because too much fat was removed? I don't have thousands to spend on another procedure, so how do I treat this? Will this ever go away on its own? Should I keep rolling and massaging, or is this making it worse? Thank you!

Dear Helpful314150,
I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction. This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately.
The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before....
