Will yawning after 2 days of my rhinoplasty affect my results?

I had my rhinoplasty 2 days ago. I have been yawning often and when I do my nostrils flair. Will this hinder my healing progress ? Or Cosmetically change my end results?

No, this shouldn't negatively impact your results. Keep in mind, the skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. If, one year from now, you are unhappy with your nose, then that is the time to think about a revision procedure. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose take its time to heal. I hope this helps.

Hello!Yawning 2 days post op will not impact your results or healing progress. You are still in the healing process so I would advice to just take it easy and relax. You also need to make sure to continue icing as often as you can to minimize any swelling you might have. Best of luck!

No, it is unlikely this will hurt your results. You have to give yourself some more healing time.  Your nose is going to be swollen for a while and you should be consulting the surgeon that performed the procedure but give yourself some time before going back in so some of it can subside. You are just at the beginning of the healing process.
