Question

My nose looks crooked from the front and I have a dorsal hump caused by a ball hitting me. I am terrified of rhinoplasty because I don't want my nose to change beside the crookedness and dorsal hump. although my tip is bulbous and nostrils are asymmetrical, I am afraid I will no longer look like myself. Can only the hump be removed and straightened without changing too much? p.s I have had filler injected but I am tired of constantly doing this. All photos attached are before the filler.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your
photograph, since you do not wish to alter anything else, you may benefit from a conservative dorsal hump
reduction.  Make sure you specifically look at
before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed
by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system.
The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I
recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic
surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Totally understand your desire to change only one aspect of your nose- and yes, the crooked dorsal hump and its prominence from the side would benefit from surgery. However, reducing it and fixing the asymmetry probably requires some minor septoplasty as you probably have an internal deviation. In other words, the asymmetry likely cannot be fixed by dorsal hump surgery alone. The septoplasty doesn't affect the tip, but just is another manoever you likely need. Also, if your dorsum is reduced and the nose straightened, your tip is going to look more bulbous. That's just a natural reality of facial proportion- especially on the nose. I'd advise you to be open minded to minor tip plasty- it can be subtle, and still look like you. You will need a few consultations so you might understand his more deeply, and ask yourself beforehand, why am I terrified of having the septum straightened and tip brought into proportion? It may be that you simply need more information and that you still need to find that provider that makes you feel comfortable with a conservative- but effective- plan for you. Good luck!

You will  benefit from septorhinoplasty  and hump correction. But one should see nose as a holistic rather in isolation. Subtle  correction of tip simultaneously  will make it more beautiful without changing too much.

Yes, its very much possible to remove only the dorsal hump without changing the shape of other parts of nose.
Here in Dubai it will cost close to $6000.
