I had Juvederm Volift 1 ml undereye 7 months before and my undereye still looks like there is a bump or a scar. I am concerned. Will this ever disappear? Can this be permanent damage? Thank you for your answer.
Answer: Bump after Volift Thank you for your question Andrea1211. I am sorry to hear about your situation. Vollure is a dermal filler used to enhance moderate to severe wrinkles on the face. Outside of the United States Vollure also goes by the name Volift. The lighting in these photographs is very dark, making it difficult to assess. If residual bumps remain after several months it can be dissolved. We have our patients return to our office if they have any such concerns. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

Answer: Lumps after Volift Thank you for your question and for submitting your photos. I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the results of your filler treatment. From the date of your question, it appears that you were injected with Volift prior to its FDA-approval in the United States (it's now marketed as Vollure here in the US). Were you injected in the US or abroad? If you were injected with authentic Volift abroad, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Volift is a somewhat robust filler, and it may require more than 1 session of hyaluronidase to fully dissolve the nodule. That said, it would be more concerning if you were injected locally. Prior to FDA-approval, it was essentially illegal to import or inject Volift here in the United States. There are a number of dubious retailers selling discounted fillers from abroad online - in many cases, these products have been found to be counterfeit or contaminated. If this was injected in the US, there's really no way of knowing what was actually used. I would recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns. Best of luck.
