Lips - Juvederm ultra 3 vs Juvederm Volift?

Hello and thank you for your question.  Volift is a newer product from allergan. In the states it is called juvederm vollure.  Vollure typically lasts 9-10 months, it is a smooth, soft product that gives more fullness with less chance of lumpiness, especially if you are using more than 1 syringe in the lips.  Juvederm is also a good product, lasting up to 6 months.  Juvederm has a higher risk of lumpiness in the lips when layering more than one syringe.  Volbella is a product that we typically use above the lip, under eyes and to define lip border. It is a thin, smooth filler that also can last up to 9 months.  Which ever product you chose to use, you should go to an experienced, board certified provider.  Go over your expectations and come up with a plan that best suits your needs.  Good luck to you!

hyaluronic acid filler designed to enhance the appearance of wrinkles and folds
on the face. In the United States we have 2 fillers in the Juvederm family which are cleared for use in the lips: Volbella and Juvederm Ultra. I find that Volbella works better for subtle enhancement such as improving the border definition and addressing fine lines on or around the lips while Juvederm works better for adding volume. Please
