I had a Septoplasty + Rhinoplasty about 2 weeks ago. I asked for a natural and masculine look, unfortunately it seems like the doctor changed the angle of the tip way more than it is supposed to be. I guess ideally for male is 90-95 degree. Not even that my nasal bridge looks curvy instead of being straight. Now what do you think ? does a revision fix this issue ? How hard would it be for the surgeon ? does my nose look natural or do I need to be worried about this ?
Answer: Unhappy with results Unfortunately you will have to wait a while before you can see the final result and/or before any corrective surgery can be made.Chances are the labiocolumellar angle will not change a whole lot. If that is the case, you will need a revision, including some grafting to lenghthen and de-rotate the nose a bit.

Answer: Two Weeks Post Rhinoplasty with Obvious Rhinoplasty Appearance in Male Patient Hi Simonla,It appears that you have had quite a bit of cartilage and bone removed during your rhinoplasty resulting in your upturned tip and sloping profile. It is best to discuss your concerns with your rhinoplasty surgeon. It is most important to have clear communication with your rhinoplasty surgeon prior to rhinoplasty to avoid these types of concerns. At this point you can only be patient and wait 12 months, if your nose is still unsatisfactory at that time, then revision rhinoplasty can be considered. Good luck and be well.Dr. P

Answer: Rhinoplasty Results After 2 weeks from a rhinoplasty, the results that you see are not final, and within the next 6 to 9 months there will be some changes from scar tissue formation and retraction, the swelling slowly goes away, then you will see how your nose takes a different positon and shape. If after 9 to 12 months you still want a change on your nnose, then will be a good time to get another evaluation to discuss your concerns.

Answer: Upturned nose 2 weeks after Rhinoplasty. What do you think ? Dear SimonMost of the time, as the swelling decreases, you will have a little drop in the tip unless your surgeon took extra steps to prevent that. At two weeks, you should be patient and give it time. you will have a good idea about the final angle at 3 months. In terms of revision, if you need it, tip de-rotation can be done. It is often limited by the amount of scarring and quality of remaining nasal cartilage. Hopefully, once your nose is fully settled, you will be fully pleased with your outcome.

Answer: Up to the Nose Following a Rhinoplasty-Be Patient, It We will Get Better 2 weeks following a rhinoplasty, there is still quite a bit of swelling. Your end result will look very different than it does now. Typically the tip of your nose does drop somewhat as time goes on. It is unclear at this point if it will drop far enough for you to be happy. If it does not, a revision rhinoplasty can fix this problem. At this point, time is your friend. Be patient. Stay in close contact with your surgeon. Give things time to play themselves out. It will improve. Good luck.
