Is there a procedure to lift my upper lip back up after it (along w/ my columella) drop & lengthen after Rhinoplasty? (photo)

My upper lip has dropped after septo-rhinoplasty. My surgeon shortened my nasal spine, de projected my nose, my collumella dropped subsequently, &de- rotated my tip. these are what I believe led to my lip dropping.My lip has lost its shape & it changed my look for the worse. When I lift and pull forward my columella just a bit with my finger, my lip perks back up into its previous shape. Is there a procedure that can lift my lip by lifting the columella? I wouldn't mind my nose being lifted with it, too

Lip lift for the long lip after rhinoplasty.This operation can be done with or without a revision rhinoplasty. The scar is hidden inside the nose to shorten the lip. See an experienced surgeon for this.

Yes, a liplift can be done to restore a more normal relationship. The incision follows the curves within the bottom of the nose and is practically imperceptible. I have three versions depending on whether it is just an issue of raising the white lip, raising the whie but also augmenting the red lip, doing both with the creating a slight upward pouty rotation of the red lip as well. The enemy of "good" is better.  In my opinion, you have a good result.  Yes, there may be some things that you wished were slightly different, but overall you have a good aesthetic result.  You might consider something more simple like filler to enhance your upper lip.  Make sure to seek multiple opinions before proceeding with a revision.All the Best,Dr. Brian Reagan

You have two options-- one is to do a intranasal procedure which will give you some improvement, but the most effective way is to do a direct upper lip lift.

The main reason that your lip looks like it has fallen is the fact that your columella (the strip between your ostrils) is lower. This can be raised using local anesthesia if you desire.
