From what I can see in the picture you provided, I believe a Tummy Tuck will be a great procedure to help with rejuvenation of your trunk. With a full Tummy Tuck I would expect to be able to remove excess skin, tighten and somewhat flatten and support the muscle wall of the abdomen, and shape in the waistline and lower back area.In addition to liposuction of the "love handle" area, the waistline is also shaped from the tummy tuck through both the tightening of the muscle wall as well as from the downward and inward movement of the skin above the belly button that is accomplished with removal of skin from below the belly button. With Tummy Tuck procedures I commonly also perform a small amount of fat transfer to the outer buttock area. Even in thin patients like yourself, we are able to improve the pretty curves of the feminine figure with this fat transfer and give a figure more like the one you show in in the first picture. While a tummy tuck will not completely transform you into your "wish" picture, I believe that you would enjoy a significant step in that direction. I recommend that you visit an experienced plastic surgeon -- I suggest that you seek out a surgeon that has significant experience with both tummy tuck and fat transfer in patients like you.Hope this helps.Nick Slenkovich, MD
I think that a tummy tuck with liposuction of the sides and back will produce your best result.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
It is not possible to tell from the photos how much narrowing of your waistline you could achieve with lipo and tummy tuck, but probably not as much as the goal photo because you have different hip-to-waist ratios. There are several versions of a tummy tuck, and on occasion I consider a reverse tummy tuck when the skin laxity is in the upper abdomen only.
Liposuction of your torso area will improve your contour - but it probably will not be to the extent of the model photo you provided as she has a wider hip bone structure, giving her more shape.A tummy tuck will remove the loose excess skin above and below the belly button. It will also improve the contour of the flanks as well, providing more or a shapely figure. It is best to have a consultation so that a proper examination can be performed and your goals reviewed so that a plan specifically tailored for you needs can be provided. Best of luck and hope this information helps! Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.- Dr. Roger Tsai
I appreciate your question.Liposuction will help you achieve more of an hourglass shape. Not like the photo but it will be an improvement. You will likely need a tummy tuck to remove the loose skin in the upper abdomen. Another option, would be skin tightening device with radio frequency. Works well with with both above procedures. The best way to assess and givetrue advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certifiedplastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Hello,You will probably never have that hour glass figure because you are very thin, so there is not a great enough differential in circumference between your hips and your waist. Although liposuction might be able to remove some fat from your waist, I don't know if it will make a difference; only an examination will allow that determination to be made. An abdominoplasty will tighten skin above the belly button. Once again, an examination should be performed to assess how well an abdominoplasty will improve this area.Best of luck!
Yes, but you need to decide if its worth it. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area (link below) to discuss the best options for you -- Dr. Nazarian
Hello Thank you for your question and photos. Liposuction can help with body shaping, however it will not aid in the loose skin you have above your belly button. Best regards
The liposuction will help get you more of that hourglass figure, probably not quite like the photo. The loose skin in the upper abdomen will need to be removed with a tummy tuck procedure. Alternatively, skin tightening with radio frequency may provide some improvement but not as much as a tummy tuck. An evaluation is the best way to assess your needs. Best of luck!
You need an extended tummy tuck which will allow us to remove all redundant skin off of your tummy as well as tighten your flanks and lateral thighs. You are in such great shape, that you will have larger gains from removing redundant skin than lipo.
I allow my tummy tuck patients to sleep on their side whenever they wish to, and I haven't encountered any problems. I do recommend to my patients that if they sleep on their side soon after their tummy tuck, that they sleep curled up in the "fetal position" to take tension off of their...
Hormonal changes can alter the way the body stores and distributes fat. Understand that liposuction and tummy tucks are body contouring procedures, not weight loss procedures. They are intended to fine tune your figure and address specific problem areas. My advice would be to work on...
