Is there a big difference between 285cc moderate plus and 300cc high profiles?

The 15 cc size difference wouldn't even be noticeable.  285 cc implants are indeed on the conservative side.  If you want to go larger think about it for a while, but unless you go at least 50 cc's larger on each side, you won't notice much change.

However, there may be an appreciable difference between the two for your overall result.  A high profile implant will be more narrow at its base width as well as have greater projection than a moderate  or moderate plus implant of similar volume. Biodimensional planning should be employed during implant placement, which takes into account factors such as tissue laxity, pinch thickness of the overlying breast, and breast width - the last being most important. When employing these factors in breast augmentation, optimal results can be obtained since all of the confounding factors are accounted for.  Fitting the correct implant for the patient with breast width and need for projection to take up laxity is of utmost importance. The difference between the two implants is minimal. The volume difference of 15 cc is a few teaspoons, not enough for you or anyone else to appreciate a difference. The high profile implant would be MINIMALLY narrower and project (stick out) a tiny bit more. People have a tendency to second-guess themselves, but rest assured that your choice was as reasonable as the other option.
