Post Voluma injection to nose - is the filler uneven or is it swollen? (photo)

You will have swelling, which can be asymmetrical. It can take up to 2 weeks for final results with HA fillers. I would wait a full 2 weeks before assessing results. If it's after the 2 week wait and you're unhappy with your results, you can have the filler dissolved. Hope this helps

Swelling after a non-surgical nose job is very common. The immediate swelling is generally fairly mild, but can last 10-14 days. If at the 2 week mark you are not happy with the results, the doctor can makes some touch-ups or the filler can be dissolved, but keep in mind that minor imperfections are possible with any procedure, including a surgical rhinoplasty or a non-surgical nose job.

You have swelling which is typical after injections and may be impacting your results. It can take 1-2 weeks for final results. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. Best, Dr. Emer

Voluma to the nose will cause immediate swelling that can last for up to a 7-10 days. I would not be concerned that is looks uneven right now. It will continue to improve as the swelling resolves. If it is still uneven after the swelling resolves, you can get a touch-up or have the filler dissolved completely as Voluma is not permanent. Hope this helps!

Temporary injectibles, like Voluma are likely to have some very temporary swelling after injection. Do not worry because it should go down within a day or two. If not, of course, you want to call your doctor and ask that your nose be checked. Robert Kotler, MD, FACSBeverly Hills, CA 

It will take 2 weeks for the filler to settle and to see your final result.  During this time, it is normal to have swelling and for the swelling to make things look uneven.  If after 2 weeks you still do not like your result, you can have Hylenex injected to dissolve the filler in your nose.  It is always best to follow up with the provider who did your injection so that they have a chance to address your concerns and fix it.  Hope this helps and good luck!
