Skin texture challenges respond best to a combination approach. In my practice, I typically use a combination of laser skin resurfacing with radiofrequency microneedling to get the best results. You may be an excellent candidate for a treatment series with the Clear + Brilliant Laser, and microneedling with the Intracel device. Be sure to add a vitamin C-based antioxidant, retinol, and a broad-spectrum SPF of at least 30 into your daily skincare regimen. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist to discuss the best resurfacing treatment and skincare options for you. In my practice, we have over 45 lasers that we use to customize treatment plans for the unique needs of each of our patients.
Microfractional laser treatments can benefit skin quality and resiliency through collagen stimulatory effects. In our office, we use combination platforms for Clear and Brilliant added to PRP, fractional RF, and filler placement in order to enhance the skin. We use Clear and Brilliant laser to improve sun spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, atrophic skin, and skin wrinkles; in addition to scars. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
Thank you for your question and pictures. There are several options that will help improve your skin texture. These include a combination of monthly facials, chemical peels, laser peels, microneedling, dermal infusion, at home skin care, etc. I would recommend an in-person consultation and evaluation to determine an exact customized treatment plan. Make sure you see an experienced physician. Best wishes.
Fraxel and/or CO2 are best for resurfacing, but Erbium is a good alternative. I always combine lasers with microneedling/PRP for more robust outcomes. For skin tightening, I recommend a combination of Ultherapy with RF treatments and Sculptra for skin tightening. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
A light resurfacing laser such as Fraxel® Clear & Brilliant® is great for smoothing superficial fine lines. Protect your skin and your investment by staying out of the sun!
Great news...there are a lot of options for you. 1.) Skin care - If you don't already have a skin care regimen, you should start. A good portfolio includes a light exfoliating cleanser, retinoid acid cream, Vitamin C/E moisturizer, and serum growth factor. Plus, tons of sunscreen and water!!!2.) Many types of laser treatment, C02, Erbium, Radiofequency, IPL can be used to soften fine wrinkles and irregularities in the skin. 3.) You can also do microBotox or micro needling which helps promote smoother, tighter skin. I would suggest to start (1) above and then try the other options if you need more help! Good luck!
Hi, Thank you for your question. I think it would be nice to examine your skin in person. But possibly combination of good skin regimen and laser treatment such as Clear & Brilliant that has minimal patient's downtime would be helpful to brighten your skin and improve its texture. Wish you the best. Dr. Kia
