Upper abdominal bulge (Photo)

Most of the time during a tummy tuck sutures are placed to tighten the muscles.  If so, it is possible one of the sutures came loose and that part of your abdomen is not as tight as the area below and a revision may be needed.  Liposuction to the area may be another option to minimize the bulge.  Talk with your surgeon to decide what your options are and what he/she feels is best.

It sounds like you had some form of a mini-tummy tuck.  In my opinion, you may have been a better candidate for a full tummy tuck.  A full tummy tuck is not possible at this point.  Your best options may be liposuction and a reverse tummy tuck about 4-6 months from now. This may be loose skin and fatty tissue from the tightening of the lower abdomen only that would likely need a reverse abdominoplasty with scars under the breasts, a separation in the muscles of the upper abdomen (diastasis) which would likely need muscle plication/tightening, or residual upper abdominal fatty tissue which may be amenable to liposuction.  

You appear to have a bulge in the area above where the modified mini abdominoplasty stopped. :This won't go away, unless you have a surgical revision using either liposuction or if it is musclular bulging, a direct plication.
