I was extremely swollen after my first open rhinoplasty procedure (for 3 months), in which I had my bump removed, the dorsum shaved down and the tip slimmed down. My revision rhinoplasty will also be done with the open method, but my surgeon will only be shaving down the cartilagineous part of the dorsum, readjusting some of the cartilage in the tip and elevate it, as it has sagged. Will I be as swollen as I was after my first procedure, even though my nasal bones will not be broken? Thank you.
