Can revision rhinoplasty help me look more ethnic again? (Photos)

Question

I no longer look ethnic after surgery. I want a wider and longer tip. I used to have a bulbous nose that started off thinner at the top of the bridge and was wider at the tip - now it almost looks like it's one size from the top to bottom. All I wanted was the hump straightened. I know I can't get my old nose back but are there improvements that can be made to my new nose to help me look more ethnic? I would want my nose to be less upturned, project more and overall look longer and wider from the front and profile because I feel like it's too short.

It is less common of a goal in revision rhinoplasty to try lengthen the nose or decrease the rotation of the tip .However, this can be accomplished most effectively with a technique called caudal septal extension graft which gives the surgeon a powerful tool to control the final position of the tip. As far as bridge an deviation issues they are fairly common areas of concern in revision cases. I recommend a consultation with a rhinoplasty sub-specialist who uses image morphing software for better visual communications.

Yes, you can definitely have surgery to help the nose look more the way that you would like. I recommend seeing and experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who performs a lot of revision surgery for best results.

You can't get your old nose back, but you can certainly address many areas with a revision rhinoplasty.  The nose can be lengthened, the nostrils widened and be widened.  Exactly what needs to be done will be discussed in your pre-operative consultation.  Computer morphing will be done to help guide you as to exactly what your want.  Seek out a board-certified revision expert.  Best wishes.
