Can I have a Revision Rhinoplasty after 7-8 months?

 I know that waiting can be very difficult, but waiting at least one year is in your best interest. Revisions performed prior to this point have a higher likelihood of complications 

While the rule of thumb is 1 year for revision rhinoplasty surgery, there are some exceptions.  The best recommendation is to have an in person consultation with a board certified specialist who can evaluate you and assist you with achieving the goals you seek. 3-dimensional computer imaging can help you visualize what you may look like afterwards and serve as an important communication tool with your surgeon.

 A revision rhinoplasty is more complicated than a primary rhinoplasty, so yes it is an extensive procedure. It's important to wait at least one year, since the healing process is not completed yet. Raising up the bridge with cartilage grafts and reconstructing the tip with additional cartilage grafting techniques is very complicated.  Choose your second surgeon wisely based on extensive experience after one year

It is impossible to evaluate your nose  months after a rhinoplasty. You may not have to wait a full year but that will depend on what was previously done, how long healing takes, and what needs to be done at the time of revision. I assume your surgeon will be following you at this time but you may want to consult with a revision specialist for a second opinion. 

Generally, you should wait a year.  Sometimes, we go in earlier for certain problems.  Seek out a second opinion if you are not comfortable waiting.  Also, there are massage techniques for the post-operative nose that can help nurse the healing nose and circumvent a revision.  Best wishes.
