Restylane Lyft (Galderma laboratories) and Perlane (Galdermalaboratories) fall into the category of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Restylane Lyft is formerly knownas Perlane. It is the same productbut is simply being rebranded by Galderma laboratories as Restylane Lyft. This rebranding coincides with theFDA's recent approval of Restylane Lyft for BOTH the treatment of decreasedvolume in the cheeks AND to add volume for the correction of smile lines (whichare known as nasolabial folds). Itis the only dermal filler FDA-approved for both of these applications (althoughmany other products are used off-label for these indications). It is my understanding that the Perlanebrand name will be phased out in favor of the new brand name Restylane Lyft.
Insightful question. Thank you.Restylane Lyft was formerly known as Perlane. Galderma rebranded the product recently. This is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler which is particularly useful in giving cheeks and lines a lift. It is FDA approved for treating the cheeks and nasolabial folds and results can last 12 months or more in some patients. If you would like to learn more about the procedure I recommend an in person consultation with a board certified dermatologist with cosmetic training.
Perlane was rebranded as Restylane Lyft after receiving the FDA approval for cheek augmentation. It has one of the highest coefficients of lifting on the market, and twice that of Voluma.
Restylane Lyft and Perlane is the same product. Lyft is a very good filler for lifting tissue due to its characteristics and it was rebranded as Lyft as more and more people began to realize the ability this filler had for facial rejuvenation (cheeks, midface).
Thank you for your question. Perlane was rebranded as Restylane Lyft. They are the same product, just different names.
They in fact are the same. Once they received FDA approval for the mid-face, Perlane was re-branded to Restylane Lyft. Of course as companies will do, they also increased the price.
Recently , Galderma changed the branding for Perlane -L to match with its family of Restylanes. It is now known as Restylane -Lyft and has obtained an FDA approval for mid-face volumizing just recently
Galderma recently decided to change the branding for #Perlane-L to coincide with its family of Restylanes. It is now packaged as #Restylane-Lyft. It obtained an FDA approval for mid-face volumizing just recently!
Thank you for this question. The products are exactly the same. Perlane was rebranded as Restylane Lyft after Galderma achieved the midface indication.
Restylane Lyft has been rebranded from Perlane as a slightly more dense variation of Restylane. Restylane Lyft like Voluma is denser and best injected deeper than less dense fillers such as Restylane, Restylane Silk, or Juvederm. Restylane Lyft, like Voluma, is meant to augment and fill the midface cheek areas.
This may have been a vascular compromise situation and can take 6-12 months to heal. If you have nerve pain starting lyrica or neurontin or the like would be acceptable. I suggest speaking to your physician and if they are not that savvy with complications, seeing a filler expert....
Bruising and residual inflammation after fillers can rarely last for as long as 2 weeks. However, an infection is also a possibility, so returning to the injecting physician for re-evaluation is important.
Using a steam room or sauna is generally not known to cause the effects of fillers or Botox to wear out faster. However, there are a few factors to consider:1. Increased Blood Flow: Steam rooms and saunas can increase blood flow and circulation, which might theoretically lead to faster...
