If you are treating dryness of the nose after a V beam procedure, it would be better to use a moisturizer instead of hydrocortisone. Hydrocortisone is an anti-inflammatory medication and would not be the best treatment for dryness. There are a variety of over the counter moisturizing lotions that you could use. Another option would be Aquaphor ointment.
For dryness, try a moisturizer with ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid such as Cerave pm which can be purchased at any drugstore or a triple lipid moisturizer. Hydrocortisone is a steroid type of anti-inflammatory which is meant to treat inflammation, but not as a moisturizer. Hope that helps!
I would only use the hydrocortisone cream if there is still some inflammation If there is only dryness you should apply a facial noncomedogenic moisturizer which is available over the counter at any drugstore. I would also recommend sunscreen daily. Hope this helps you.
