Would a premaxillary implant fill in the depressions on the sides of my nose? (photos)

Question

The area under my nose is concave. Id like to bring it forward. Also, id like to change the shape of it as well. I want to narrow the nostril width and bulbus tip. The collumela is also retracted. How can i achieve this? Im also wanting to get a lip lift as the large space between my upper lip and nose bothers me. Which should i do 1st, or can it all be done at the same time? Any surgeons use the dolphin imaging system to help figure out proper location and size of implant best used?

Thanks for your question. A premaxillary or pyriform aperature implant would work to fill in the medial nasolabial hollow. Another easy option is Radiesse injections on the bone in the hollow. Over time, the collagen created by Radiesse fills the area in a softer, more natural way. A rhinoplasty procedure will manage your other concerns nicely. Cartilage grafting could elongate your nose in an aesthetic manner. A lip lift might need to be performed in a delayed manner for maximum safety.

Premaxillary implant with rhinoplasty? Yes this can be done along with a lip lift, tip refinement, nostril narrowing, etc.  See a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who can show you examples of his work and do not rely on imaging but rather actual results.

The rhinoplasty and premaxillary implant can be done at the same time. The shape and size of the premaxillary implant, however, can not really be determined by imaging software. Such precise implant design requires 3D CT implant designing. The subnasal lip lift will need to be done as a second stage procedure three months after the first stage.

It is important for you to consult with both a plastic surgeon as well as oral maxillary surgeon since it appears that you may have an underbite; the underbite may require orthodontic or other surgical maneuvers; the nose itself can be advanced forward, the bulbous tip corrected as well using rhinoplasty techniques.
