Infected stitches? I have open rhinoplasty 4 days ago. (photo)

Question

I got an open rhinoplasty 4 days ago and I'm worried my stitches are infected. There is yellow discharge, no bleeding, scabs inside my nose, I've been cleaning my nose with q tips and hydrogen peroxide along with putting polysporin on the suture as instructed by my surgeon. Other than this it is slightly uncomfortable but no significant pain, I'm just wondering if I should seek further medical attention?

based on your photo and symptoms, there are signs of infection. i would recommend you to visit your plastic surgeon for an examination.

Thank you for the question! It is rather difficult to fully evaluate your situation without an in-person exam. It is likely that you may have infection at the site of incision, which means you should alert your plastic surgeon to your concerns. 
An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon is the best way to assess your needs and obtain expert medical advice. Best of luck!
