Zapping the mounds with Radio frequency by Fractora RF or Morpheus8 with PRP would probably fix the problem long term whereas a filler would make it look better for about 4-6 months.
Perioral area needs 1) surgery to lift2) threads to help build collagen and tighten the area3) fillers4) lasersall in a combination. this can be improved but you need a full assessment. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello and thank you for your question and photo. As we age we loose collagen and the skin starts to face drops a bit. So what you are seeing is a combination of lax skin and some fat. If you were to put a filler there it may help soften and lift the area. The newer fillers are great for lifting! You must have it done by by an expert injector, too much will make the area look worse. Next, I would do some type of collagen building. There are many procedure you can do for this, we like thermage with sculptra. Thermage is a device that applies heat to the skin and the sculptra is an injection. Sculptra is a medication that stimulates collagen production. When combining the two you get an amazing collagen boost. Thermage and sculptra lifts the jowls, helps define jawline and smooths the neck. This helps slow down the signs of aging. One treatment is needed every year. Collagen building over time is important to maintain an overall youthful and healthy outcome! Be sure to consult with an expert, experienced provider. Hope this helps!
Hi. Those folds are much more likely to be looser skin, since as a general rule, we tend to *lose* volume in the face, rather than gain it as we age.The hollows can be filled with an appropriate filler. Following that, you can opt to have an RF-based skin-tightening laser to "lift" and tighten the skin. Almost always, we see a major improvement in the exact appearance you've shown on your photograph.Hope that helps.
Fillers to correct volume loss and provide a lift as well as a skin tightening treatment such as Sublime to lift up the corners of the mouth is what I would recommend. I would place the filler in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, corners of mouth, marionette lines and prejowl hollows.
Those mounds of fat you're referring to occur in every single individual as facial aging occurs as a result of volume loss. The best way to bring them up is to have a procedure called autologous fat grafting which will restore the volume back to where it once used to be. This procedure will result in making you look twenty years younger while looking just like yourself at a younger age and the results are nearly permanent. Good luck from New York City and find yourself a plastic surgeon who is well-versed in autologous fat grafting techniques
HelloThe photo fo the whole face would have been helpful.Mostly we see saggy lower face because of shrinking fat pats around cheek area. One solution is to have fillers in cheek (mid face ) area and that improve the saggy face.fillers around lower face also tend to improve the volume loss too.Other options may be available too but requires a formal consultation.Best
It makes sense to first reduce the fat pad with RF Micro-Needling. Re-evaluate in 90 days to determine if a filler or Vampire Facelift will be best.
As we age we lose volume in our face gravity pulling fat pads downward. This can be corrected with fillers in upper face like the cheek bone area or lower face around the laugh lines
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
Hi @lmarieod9! Most facial filler products that are injected into this area should ideally be placed in the tissue plane directly on top of the bone, or at least underneath the eyelid muscle layer. If a facial filler product is placed too superficial in the skin, or on top of the muscle layer,...
