Hello, I had lipo done 2 weeks ago and these are the only lipo wounds not healing (pics) they are in the pubic area. They appear deep. My PS says to put antibiotic ointment on them but I’m afraid they won’t close if I do. Any advice?

I would say the wounds look good and are on their way to heal.  Follow your plastic surgeons advice and they should close up shortly.Hope that helps.

it is hard to tell for sure what is the problem. I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon, follow your surgeon's instructions and keep your wound clean and covered. It can take few weeks for wound to fully heal.

your words will close with enough time.  Antibiotic went meant is fine.  Personally I would clean the woods daily with a Q-tip and Hydrin peroxide then apply antibiotic ointment and repeat.  Clean wounds heal the fastest.  Follow your doctor's instructions. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

The wounds appear to be doing well. Trust your surgeon. There is nothing bad that could happen from applying antibiotic ointment. Do not listen to the advice of putting peroxide on the wound, as it is the worst thing you can do.
