Has anyone performed a natural breast augmentation using the subjects body fat in conjunction with breast implants? Is it possible to use both methods to increase breast size?
Answer: Fat transfer in the breast TherecRe certainly surgeons who use both techniques. I believe fat injections are worthless and would steer you away from them.

Answer: Implants and fat transfer it is certainly possible to use both implants and fat grafting. This is determined by your presentation and your desired results. I will use this combination routinely in revision breast surgery. It is less common in primary breast augmentation but still possible.

Fat transfer adds signficant time to the procedure, and therefore cost. Keep in mind however, that if these two procedures are being performed at the same time, the pressure from the implants may negatively affect the amount of fat take. Depending on multiple factors such as: how much tissue you have to begin with, how thin your skin is, how much skin laxity you have, how large you want to go- you may or may not need both. I do both procedures, but typically will stage these procedures if both are being performed so that the patient gets the best possible results. You would be best served by having an in person evaluation and consultation so recommendations can be made. Good luck!
