I had a breast Augmentation on August 2nd. I hate them. They are so big and saggy. Both doctors I went to see said nothing about a breast lift. Should I have gotten a breast lift? I am only 23 and I've never had kids. I just hate my results :( ... I did go with 500cc silicone implants, I sort of felt a little pressured in the office to go "larger" is it because the implant is heavy and too large on my frame? I just hate them so much. I also have before my implants. What should I do to fix them?
Answer: Why are my breasts so saggy already? Thank you for the photos and question. The photos are hard to compare due to being taken in different positions. Breast implants are chosen by the plastic surgeon in conjunction with your desires. This is based on your chest wall anatomy, breast volume and base width, skin elasticity, degree of sagginess and so on. I believe you answered your own question. The implants are too large and heavy for your frame. They go way off your chest wall laterally, stretched your areolae to a large size. There are two ways to deal with this issue. Have them removed and allow for your breast tissues to recoil and tighten up. Then, you can have another augmentation with implants that actually fit your frame. The other option is to have them removed, replace them with smaller implants and do a breast lift. This will give you more scarring on the breasts. Seek a second opinion or talk to your surgeon about your disappointment and desires to correct this situation. Good luck.

Answer: Why are my breasts so saggy already? I'm so sorry that you are so unhappy with your results. Good thing is that you can do something to correct the droopiness. I'm assuming that because 2 surgeons said you did not need a lift, that pre-operatively you surely did not need one, because it's difficult to say with the pre-op photo you posted as you appear to be laying down. With that said, 500cc implants are large implants and with larger implants comes the weight of them. Gravity, weight of the implants and genetics (skin quality), etc all play a role in your results. Yes, a lift would help with the droopiness. You can keep your implants and do the lift around them, but you may come across this issue again at some point, or you can switch the implants for a smaller set. Definitely talk with your surgeon and go over your concerns and go over all of your options at that point and take a good look at the scar pattern from a lift. ac

Answer: Breast lift? a breast lift can make your nipples smaller and help your breast shape. The implant could also be made smaller if that is something you would like. Talk with your PS to see what your options are.

Answer: Sometimes results are not as we anticipated and if both doctors did not suggest a lift, one was probably not needed. However, due to how you have healed, one is needed now to provide a more perky result. If you feel you stretched out from the implants, perhaps downsizing would not be a bad idea as well, or if you now realize you were happy with your original size, simply have the lift and remove the implants (the x factor). I have had this happen to myself and I ended up providing a lift for her since this was not anticipated and had nothing to do with her actions.... simply part of my revision policy so find out what your surgeon's revision policy is and return for more options.

Answer: Why are my breasts so saggy already? It seems as if a lifting operation option was needed but if you did not desire the scars than that might be why a larger implant was used...
