How long after rhinoplasty can I wear a face mask?

I plan on having a rhinoplasty in the near future. Specifically, I’m having a columella strut graft (made from cadaver rib cartilage) placed in the tip of my nose to increase projection. When can I safely wear a face mask without compromising my results? Thanks.

It is possible to go ahead with this procedure, however, in your case, I would recommend to chose closed Septorhinoplasty technique in order to avoid any complications.

In general, it is not common for pores to be addressed surgically during a rhinoplasty although it is difficult to determine for sure without pictures. More commonly, skin concerns such as large pores are managed by dermatologists.
