A fall that happens 13 days before a BR procedure that is expected to last 3 hours- results in a large dark purple bruise right next to a large varicose vein right below the knee. No idea what the bruise will look like on the day of surgery but should a call be made to surgeon regarding this or would she be wasting their time? Thanks! The fall wasn't serious- just a slip!

Thank you for your question. You should leave the tape on until it falls off . The tape also helps with scarring and widening of scars. You can tear and irritate the skin by pulling it off too soon.
