I am early 30s & have 2mm scleral show beneath my irises when looking straight ahead (more when expressive or face is slack). What is causing so much scleral show in my eyes? How abnormal is this? How unattractive/strange does this make my eyes look? What can be done to make my eyes look more attractive, & would fillers work? Thank you

Answer: This is not abnormal or unattractive. Your big eyes are beautiful. Unsuccessful surgery it alter this feature is ugly. You have to be very careful what you look for. Unless you are having a functional issue with your big eyes like chronic eye irritation, do not let surgeons mess with your eyes. For a detailed, personal assessment, there is no substitute for a personal consultation.

Answer: Big Beautiful Eyes Facial beauty starts with your eyes. Reviewing your photographs, your eyes are very attractive. Surgery to correct your scleral show is possible but it comes with consequences. Re-positioning you lower eyelid will decrease the volume of you viable eye, making the aperture smaller. Personally, I would avoid surgery, but a consultation and evaluation with a professional never hurts.Good Luck.
