Do my knees look TOO swollen? Just had BBL (lipo from stomach, arms and inner thighs).

Question

The Lipo of the inner thighs was of the upper half- not anywhere near the knees. Day 4 post op. I understand some swelling is normal but I'm only 119lbs. I've been ambulating as much as possible, am wearing compression socks and rotating ankles often.

Dear benedek87,swelling after liposuction is very common and it can last for weeks.Also, gravity plays a significant role in swelling migration, so you can expect your knees to be swollen after thigh liposuction. I generally include in their knees when I do inner thigh liposuction.
Regardless gravity often causes swelling below the area was treated.
It is also common that area is just past the end of the compression garment showing increased swelling.
This sounds like typical postoperative swelling of lower extremity's but you may want to check in with your plastic surgeon to confirm.
