My eyelids bother me because it looks like a have a lazy eye sometimes and i am a makeup artist so this is really annoying when I do my makeup and i have to struggle with one eye more. I get real self conscious so I want soemthing effective. What are my options?

Answer: I totally agree with my colleague Dr. Martin. This is profound upper eyelid ptosis. The left side is worse than the right side. Your ptosis is so bad that you hold your chin up to see out under the eyelids. Please do not do botox, this will likely drop your eyebrows and worsen your situation. You need bilateral anterior levator ptosis surgery. This should be done under light intravenous sedation in an accredited operating room. You need to be off work about 7 to 10 days. At about 14 days, most people will not be aware that you just had a surgery. Study my website which has a great deal of information about this type of surgery. You also need your upper eyelid crease reconstructed and an anchor blepharoplasty to support your eyelashes. This will help make your eyes your best feature.
