I have horizontal lines across both of my cheeks. They fluctuate a bit in severity. They don't connect with my tear trough lines and instead start a couple centimeters below them. I've seen online that these may be malar bags, but I'm 18 and apparently it is not common for younger people to have them. What could be the cause and solution for these?

We allow patients to shower the day after eyelid surgery. I do tell them not to let the stream of water hit them directly in the surgical area. Just be careful drying the area and to be more delicate then normal.
