What's the healing process for a Beneli lift?

Benelli or concentric mastopexy is often performed with breast augmentation since it is a limited lift. Most of the discomfort comes from the breast augmentation and not the lift. You will need to avoid lifting anything heavier than 15 pounds for 2 weeks after surgery. For the lift portion the incision may take 4-6 weeks to heal initially, with the scar continuing to look better up to a year. With a Beneli lift, there is a permanent suture used to hold the shape of the nipple. If any suture shows through skin, it is critical that you see your doctor. Do not try to cut it yourself.

The healing time with a breast lift is similar to most breast surgeries--about 6 weeks. Always check with your surgeon to see when you are released to full activities.

A Benelli lift is just another form of Breast Lift surgery which involves limiting the scar to just around the areola. The healing time is really not any different from any other form of breast lift. It takes about 6 to 8 weeks for the scar to regain most of the original tissue strength, so this is the lapse of time you would need to limit yourself in terms of heavy duty activity. Light duty and non-strenuous work activity can be started much more quickly after the procedure.

an operation I really enjoy. I happen to use all the disolving stitches and people can shower the next day. For most women it is not a major pain procedure.I instruct people they can do all normal life type activities such as drive a car go to work if its an office setting etc within a few days. The only thing you cannot do is activities involving running or jumping and that's several weeks up to a month.
