Benelli or concentric mastopexy is often performed with breast augmentation since it is a limited lift. Most of the discomfort comes from the breast augmentation and not the lift. You will need to avoid lifting anything heavier than 15 pounds for 2 weeks after surgery. For the lift portion the incision may take 4-6 weeks to heal initially, with the scar continuing to look better up to a year. With a Beneli lift, there is a permanent suture used to hold the shape of the nipple. If any suture shows through skin, it is critical that you see your doctor. Do not try to cut it yourself.

For most women it is not a major pain procedure.I instruct people they can do all normal life type activities such as drive a car go to work if its an office setting etc within a few days. The only thing you cannot do is activities involving running or jumping and that's several weeks up to a month.
