I had breast augmentation in the end of november 2016. At the moment, everything is healing well, still a little bit sensless:my nippes and under. My Nipples are a little dry from time to time. However, it becomes extra very dry after my partner kisses my breastes. Is it normal? Sorry if the question is trivial, but would appreciate your replies. Thank you
Answer: Dry skin after a breast augmentation Thank you for your question. Yes, dry skin after a breast augmentation is normal. When the breast skin is stretched by implants and swelling it can cause some temporary dryness of the nipple/breast. You can use just about any type of moisturizer to help with this.Best of luck,Dr. Hisham Seify

Answer: Dry skin after BA Thank you for your question. Anytime surgery is performed, and especially when skin is stretched a bit (as it is in breast augmentation), it is not uncommon for the skin to be a little dry. The oil glands are stressed and they do not function normally. However, by 6 months this should improve. As the weather warms up and humidity is available again, this will also help. I'd keep your skin moisturized in the meantime.
